Honda BR-V Achieves 5-Star ASEAN NCAP Safety Rating

Bangkok, Thailand - Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd. announced its success in developing automobiles with high safety standards with the latest achievement from Honda BR-V that received a 5-star safety rating from ASEAN New Car Assessment Program (ASEAN NCAP). In the frontal offset impact and side impact test, the BR-V achieved with scores of 14.79 points out of 16 in Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) and 72% in Child Occupant Protection (COP). The crash test conducted at the Japan Automobile Research Institute (JARI) in Japan.
 
Mr. Pitak Pruittisarikorn, Chief Operating Officer of Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd. commented, “Since its official launch in January 2016, Honda BR-V, the latest active sport crossover vehicle which has been received favorable feedbacks with the bookings over 5,000 units. We are delighted and very proud that the Honda BR-V which was developed by the team of Japanese and Thai engineers of Honda R&D Asia Pacific Co., Ltd., has achieved a 5-star ASEAN NCAP safety rating. The success emphasizes the reliability of Honda’s quality production in creating and delivery of innovative and quality automobiles with the highest safety standards for all drivers and passengers, both adults and children.”
 
Honda BR-V comes along with the standard body structure such as G-Force Control (G-CON) technology, Seatbelt Reminder for driver and front passenger, Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) with Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Hill Start Assist (HSA) and Dual Front SRS Airbags and also Rearview Camera* to ensure the driving in all journeys.

Honda BR-V Achieves 5-Star ASEAN NCAP Safety Rating

Bangkok, Thailand - Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd. announced its success in developing automobiles with high safety standards with the latest achievement from Honda BR-V that received a 5-star safety rating from ASEAN New Car Assessment Program (ASEAN NCAP).
