Australia - Honda’s newest small SUV, the HR-V, has been awarded a five-star safety rating from the Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP).
“The HR-V has been a huge success for us since its launch this year,” said Honda Australia Director, Mr. Stephen Collins. “It is a premium small SUV with sharp styling and a long list of features at a great price.
“The HR-V is exactly what our customers want and this is reflected in the sales results, with over 10,000 sold in just 11 months. To be awarded the highest possible safety rating is just further confirmation that this is one of the best small SUVs on the market,” Mr. Collins said.
The HR-V provides the perfect balance of personal space, utility and safety with edgy and dynamic styling, sharp lines and a wide stance. It has a sophisticated, spacious and sleek interior with luxurious appointments that defy its price point.
The HR-V’s sedan-like steering ensures easy manoeuvrability with spirited dynamic performance and a low centre of gravity for superior road holding.
Available in four variants, the HR-V is feature-packed, with standard features including Honda’s state-of-the-art Display Audio system with Bluetooth compatibility (Apple and Android), audio streaming, Electric Parking Brake and a wide-angle reversing camera with three modes that features dynamic guidelines viewed on the seven-inch touch screen.
The Honda HR-V range starts at a Manufacturer’s List Price of $24,990* for the VTi (flat paint).
