Honda Odyssey Number One With Australian Families
The Honda Odyssey has been number one in private sales within the people-mover segment since the fifth-generation was launched in February 2014.

“The Odyssey has surpassed our expectations,” said Honda Australia Director, Mr. Stephen Collins. “It is practical and packed with features. Its high quality finish both inside and out means a super-comfortable journey and it’s also a delight to drive. All these qualities have ensured the Odyssey has remained number one in private sales and we are very proud of its achievement.”

In September, the Odyssey sold 242 units, taking its annual total to 2,167. Looking just at the private part of the people-mover segment, the Odyssey sits at number one with 45.5 percent market share (YTD).

The Honda Odyssey is available with an eight (VTi) and seven seat (VTi-L) configuration, which is both practical and flexible. It is also packed with features, such as Honda’s ECON Mode and Eco Assist, Vehicle Stability Assist, Tyre Deflation Warning System, six airbags (including third row), Idle Stop, Daytime Running Lights, halogen headlights with auto on/off and cruise control with steering wheel mounted buttons.

The VTi-L gains a multi-view camera with Smart Park Assist, Blind Spot Information System, Cross-Traffic Monitor and built-in satellite navigation.  Another highlight is the second row Captain’s Chairs with arm rests and ottoman.  All seven seats are finished in leather trim and the front seats have heating.
