Honda Indonesia Opens 'Honda Gallery'
Jakarta –  Honda Automobile and Motorcyle subsidiaries in Indonesia teamed up to open the first ever “Honda Gallery” in Indonesia, April 10th, 2018 at Senayan City Mall, Central Jakarta. Honda Gallery was designed to represent Honda’s “The Power of Dreams” philosophy, shown through attractive display of products and technology milestones.

Honda Gallery was inaugurated by Takehiro Watanabe as President Director PT Honda Prospect Motor, Toshiyuki Inuma as President Director of PT Astra Honda Motor, and board of directors from both companies.

“With Honda Gallery, we want to introduce our dreams and visions to Indonesia citizens through mobility technology which makes our lives easier and meaningful. Honda Gallery is something that only Honda can do, because we have realized our dreams through a variety of high-tech innovations for mobility on land, sea, and sky,” said Takehiro Watanabe, President Director of PT Honda Prospect Motor.

Inside the Gallery, visitors could see some of Honda’s most advanced automobile, motorcycle, and milestones in technology, including:

  • Honda NSX
The latest generation of Honda supercar which combine high performance with sporty looks and hybrid engine efficiency. NSX at this gallery shown with the latest exterior color and fascinating interior details.
  • Honda Civic Type R
A legendary sports car from Honda, which was launched in Indonesia since last year. This car also holds the record as the fastest front wheel drive car in Nürburgring circuit, Germany, after breaking the record of 7 minutes 43.80 seconds lap time.
 
Honda Civic Type R comes with aggressive styles through exterior and interior design. This car is equipped with 2.0 litre VTEC Turbo which produce the maximum power of 310 PS at 6.500 rpm and maximum torque of 400 Nm at 2.500 – 4.500 rpm. According to its sporty character, Civic Type R comes with 6 speed manual transmission and 3 drive modes including +R, Sport and Comfort.
 
  • Honda RCV213V-s
 
Honda RC213V-S is the street version of Honda RC213V racing bike, which used by Repsol Honda racing team in MotoGP series. As a prototype mdel, Honda RC213V-S uses the same configuration, including a V-4, 4-stroke, DOHC, 4-valve, 6-speed, liquid-cooled engine with 999cc capacity, which produces top power of 117 kW /11.000 rpm and torque ofdan torsi 102 Nm/10.500 rpm for standard version. The bike also implement a PGM-FI (Programmed Fuel Injection) system with fuel capacity of 16,3 L.
 
Honda RC213V-S was specially produced at Kumamoto factory, Japan, and manually hand-crafted to make it a highly exclusive product. Only few changes needed for RC213V-S to make it street-legal, including addition of head and rear lights, turning lights, license plate lights, rear view mirrors, speedometer, exhaust with catalyst, horn, honda smart key, self starter and side stand.

  • Honda UNI-CUB β
Honda UNI-CUB β is a refinement of previous versions of UNI-CUB, to create a mobility devices that can be used by more people. This devices serves as personal mobility tool which have a stability control feature and Honda Omni Traction Drive system that developed through the research and development of ASIMO. This technology support the user to move forward, backward, and sideways by shifting the weight and positioning the body leaning in the desired direction. Comes with a compact body suitable for maneuvering among people, UNI-CUB offers personal mobility in enclosed spaces such as offices and commercial facilities. Honda UNI-CUB β has dimensions of 510 x 315 x 620 mm weighing 25 kg, using lithium-ion batteries and has a maximum speed of 6 kmph and a distance of 6 km can be reached within 1.5 hours at a speed of 4 kmph Honda provides an opportunity for visitors in Honda Gallery to experience driving the Honda UNI-CUB β.
 
At Honda Gallery, also provided an Interactive Wall which contains various information about latest Honda products, technology, and innovations. The gallery is located at Ground Floor of Senayan City Mall with an area of 237,8 m2. Honda Gallery is open for public from April to June 2018.
