Honda Showcases Electric and Hybrid Scooters Technology at the Bangkok International Motor Show 2018
Bangkok - A.P. Honda Co., Ltd., distributor of Honda motorcycles in Thailand, is going full steam as leader of the market for the 29th year at Bangkok International Motor Show 2018 with its grand exhibition of Honda’s cutting-edge motorcycles and technology under the concept, “WHAT STOPS YOU?”. For the first time in Thailand, Honda showcases the PCX Electric and PCX Hybrid, the scooters developed for the low carbon society. Also being introduced at the event are the All New FORZA, All New Honda Goldwing, New Honda CB1000R, New Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sport, Honda Monkey and Honda C125.
 
Mr. Yoichi Mizutani, President of A.P. Honda Co., Ltd., stated: “innovations in automotive have been developed to meet the demands of the contemporary users. For Honda, we have a vision for 2030 to “serve people worldwide with the joy of expanding their lives’ potential” and “lead the advancement of mobility and enable people everywhere in the world to improve their daily lives.” The statement led to the new brand concept, “WHAT STOPS YOU?”, which aims to encourage everyone to move forward, overcome the challenges, and make any impossibility possible. Similarly, Honda motorcycle has never stopped challenging ourselves, to innovate and facilitate contemporary lifestyle. Today, as promised, we are proud to introduce the electrified and Hybrid scooter at Bangkok International Motor Show. At the same time, 6 new models will be launched with special promotion offered exclusively to visitor to this exhibition.”
 
Mr. Suchart Arunsaengroj, Vice President of A.P. Honda Co., Ltd., added “We are ready to present a new concept and design under “WHAT STOPS YOU?”. As a leader in technology, Honda is offering our technology for tomorrow namely Honda PCX Electric – the zero-emission motorcycle – developed with a combination of technology and sleek design, and Honda PCX Hybrid – the world’s first hybrid  that raise the bar for technology and riding performance that comes with intelligent function. Both will strengthen brand position of the Honda PCX as leader of the premium A.T. motorcycle.
 
“This year, Honda Motorcycle Booth is divided into three zones. First is the Commuter Zone that will welcome visitors with the launch of All New FORZA. With a concept of “For the Great Prestige”, the model offers exceptional riding experience and new luxury design, which has been made for a flexible city ride and comfortable day-trip. The model comes with an intelligent function, borrowed from a car, including automatic front shield that can be adjusted up to 110mm, surround full LED, foldable side mirrors with built-in winker lights, and HSTC technology to control the front and rear tires for a better security. Suggested retail price is 169,000 baht.
 
“Second, the BIGBIKE zone, features 3 new models which are New Honda CB1000R – top of the Neo Sports Café class that combines the soul of the Japanese craft with cutting-edge technology under the “Japan Crafted” concept. The model comes with café-style round front light and well-blended but bold sport design that has been created for those with great passion with the Neo Sports Café. Next is All New Honda Goldwing – top of the grand touring class which comes with the first grand change in 17 years. The new luxury touring model comes with 1,800cc engine, 6-horizontal-cylinder, DCT gear system, 7 speed, and luxury functions. The new model is also equipped with latest innovation for grand touring class. The last is New Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sport celebrating its 30th anniversary with its styling but bold look and full functions for all rides.
 
 “Third, the CUB House, aimed to deliver the unique bike culture, has been launched to cater to the demands of the contemporary users who don’t consider their motorcycles as a vehicle, but a happiness of ownership. A replica of CUB House Co-Creation Lifestyle Space will be created to display the core of the true living, culture of story-creation, combined with personal identity, displayed through the motorcycle, fashion, food and drinks. Experience the actual store on Ekamai Soi 3 now. A grand opening will be held on April 20.
 
 “To make the CUB House more exclusive, two of the legendary models will be only available at the House are Honda Monkey 125 and Honda C125. The first comes with round front light, seamless metal fuel tank, glossy-paint body, LED negative meter, and LED graphic Monkey Face that has been especially designed for Honda Monkey. Suggested retail price is 99,000 baht. The latter, Honda C125, maintains its original design, borrowed from Honda Super Cub C100 – the famous scooter from the 1960’s. The model has been carefully designed by true designers from Honda, to represent the pride of the owner who wish to own a legend at 89,000 baht. Special prices to be offered at the 39th Motor Show are 94,900 baht for Honda Monkey and 84,900 baht for Honda C125. CUB House premium box will also be given to visitors at CUB House. D.I.Y. Start by Us, Finish by You corner will bring all the accessories from such leading custom brands as Bell, Bikers, G-Craft, Kitaco, Moriwaki, H2C for CUB House. Items from the five brands will be displayed and offered at special prices at the motor show.
 
“Moreover, a mobile application, Line Business Connect, has been launched to bring Honda closer to the users on the one-on-one contact and to learn their digital lifestyle, as well as to satisfy them. The Line app will be launched and used via CUB House. Interested users may add “@Hondamotorcycleth” as a friend, to be able to enjoy the privileges and access the updates on lifestyle products and information, which will be available at the physical store at CUB House in Ekamai, before anyone else.
