The nine new 2017 models, each with different performance characteristics, were unveiled at the launch under the company’s “Be Your Wing” campaign, which expresses Honda Taiwan’s commitment to becoming the most trusted motorcycle brand for Taiwanese. The highlight of the event was the debut of the X-ADV, CBR1000RR Fireblade SP, and VFR800 series, which have been added to Honda Taiwan’s Fun bike line-up for customers who love excitement, joy, and the fun of riding.
The cross-over model is powered by a 745cc parallel twin-cylinder water-cooled engine with Dual-Clutch Transmission. The main features include an inverted front fork and airtight steel wire frame that make the X-ADV highly adaptable to various types of terrain.

Honda’s powerful super sport model features a 999cc inline four-cylinder water-cooled engine with an improved compression ratio to conform to the new camshaft and throttle valve to deliver maximum horsepower. It is equipped with optional electronic control items such as TCS, corner ABS, and riding mode, which meets riders’ needs for handling and road safety while providing unlimited sporty fun.
The VFR800 series comes in both the recreational VFR800F version and the off-road VFR800X version, both with a 782cc 4-cylinder water-cooled engine and the Hyper-VTEC system. The suspension uses a special Pro-Arm single swing arm that provides a more comfortable maneuvering experience with concentrated gravity, which is the special representative style of the VFR800 series.
The other new 2017 models already in the Taiwan market are the CB650F and CBR650F, both with the popular 648cc parallel 4-cylinder water-cooled engine with dual camshafts, and the new CB1100EX and CB1100RS, classic-design models that come with an 1140cc air-cooled inline four-cylinder engine that delivers strong performance.
At the event, Honda Taiwan also announced it will open the fourth motorcycle dealer in Sanchong District to cater to the increasing demand for Fun motorcycles. The new dealer offers the “6S” functions that Honda Taiwan promotes as the standard core services at its dealers, which are “Sales, Service, Spare Parts, Safe Riding, Security (insurance and rescue), and Society (owner activities),” as it aims to provide customers the joy of owning and riding Honda motorcycles.
